Mobile Kitchen Cart & Cooking Curriculum

Students can learn to like new foods through taste tests, but will that change eating habits at home and later in life?

In partnership with Chef Tristan Toleno of the Vermont Fresh Network and the Brattleboro Food Co-op Brattleboro Farm to School is developing a K-6 cooking curriculum highlighting local foods and basic cooking and math skills. Students will taste what they make in class, and take home samples and recipes for their families to try. Blue Cross Blue Shield is funding the creation of a mobile kitchen cart for the pilot project at Green Street School.
